Rock Front Ranch (Just Jujubes)
Far inland from the Central California coast, in the Las Padres National Forest, lies the sunny Cuyama Valley. The geographic isolation of the Valley creates a pristine environment with unpolluted air, fresh rainwater, and a profusion of richly diverse native   flowering plants. Similarly, the isolated, wide open prairies of the Dakotas provide a bounty of flowering clover in an ideal habitat far from the risk of pesticide contamination. Our bees use these   essential elements to happily   harvest nectar and pollen and produce the finest, purest, most healthful honey in the world. Rock Front Ranch also grows jujubes. In the early stages of the Avila Valley Barn, a young lady by the name of Debbie Smith joined Dr. D's farming family, and for 25-years played an instrumental role in helping to create the Avila Barn we know today.
